Not much has been going on here. All we do is work, watch The Office on Netflix, and go to weddings. We haven't had anytime to do projects on the house. I actually went to the grocery store for the first time in a month on Friday......does that give ya a little clue as to how much we have been gone! Hooch is STILL not back. Can you believe it???? He is suppose to
Oh and guess what!!!!? I'm going to be an aunt in October! Whit and Ashley, my brother and sister-in-law, are having a baby!!! We are so excited! This will be the first grandchild in our family. They find out this Thursday whether it's a boy or girl and my mom is having a reveal party......so stay tuned for that news!
Brian and I have definitely got the urge to start some projects back up though. We are thinking the Man Cave is going to be the next one. If you are on Pinterest, you can go check out my "man cave board" and get a little insight into what I want it to look like. CLICK HERE We want to turn part of the bathroom area into a kitchenette, so I'm pumped about that
This is the space I'm talking about. On the other side of the left wall is the toilet/ shower area, and there is enough space in there to add a small vanity/sink. So we would take out this vanity above and add a kitchenette. I'm in-visioning a few upper and lower cabinets, a little sink, mini frig, maybe an ice maker Brian is sweating right now as he is reading this and wondering how the heck I think I'm going to pay for this I just think it would be cool. And we are planning on adding a porch off the man cave one day too, so we definitely would need a small kitchen ;) I keep my "off season" clothes in that closet to the right.....and I even considered giving up that closet Ican't believe I'm saying this right now so we could open up that space too. We have another closet in the man cave....but that's BRIAN's hunting closet, so we'll see if he will share with me.
here are some of the images from my Pinterest board for the kitchenette
I like this layout
I love the color of these cabinets
love the rustic look of this one
and I love the sink and butcher block in this one
stay tuned..........
