FLOORS!

Our hardwoods have been installed!! They still need to be sanded and stained, but  they are in........and that means soon I will be in too!!!

It's really weird to have floor in there now, we've been staring at the sub floors for almost two months!

Brian spent Friday afternoon trying to tear out the last thing that had to go.  It was quite a challenge and we have definitely been procrastinating.

 
We had to get the old brick floor that was in front of the grill out so that hardwoods could go there instead.  We actually almost left them because we didn't want to deal with we are lazy  trying to figure out how to get them up.  But we knew that it would look a lot better if we did it, and now was the time to do it.

This took way too long....so Brian went back Saturday morning with a sledge hammer and got them all out!  But this is how he came home....

Covered in duck tape.  This is so typical.  Apparently Brian lost in his fight with the bricks.

 
This kitchen has really been demolished, can't wait to see what it is going to look like!
