We Got a Table!!!

Our dinning room is no longer empty....this week Brian went to Atlanta and picked up his dinning room table that he inherited. IT'S HUGE!! I'm so excited about it and love it.  It was perfecting timing too because I hosted my mom's side of the family at our house for an early thanksgiving dinner. This is what the table looked like when I had it all set....

We had 14 people sitting around it! It was so great to all be able to sit at the same table!

I made these turkey name tags for everyone too

We set up the food in the breakfast room

and put all the deserts on the island



yummy! I could eat the whole meal all over again!

This year was special because my cousins have TWO babies in the family now and we have so much  fun to play with them and they bring such joy to the occasions!

 Here are Ellie and Charlie in their sweet little thanksgiving outfits my mom got them.  PRECIOUS!

This picture is a rare occasion.......my little brother Jake holding a baby!!!! he told my mom that babies freak him out Look at Ellie playing on the iphone.....kids these days!!! Love it!

Well now I've got to decorate this dinning room.....I'm not really sure what I want to do with it...stay tuned!

Master Bedroom

I haven't shown you any pictures of the bedrooms in our house because I CANNOT get them to look the way I want them to.  I think I had a vision of what I thought they were going to look like, but then when we moved in and got the furniture in, It wasn't what I thought.  So for the past few weeks I've been trying to spruce them up a little.  Brian and Hooch went hunting this weekend, so I tried to work on the master.

One day I hope to get matching bedside tables...but this will do for now...

There's that great headboard Brian made!!!! It matches the pillow perfect!!!

Best part about this room is that it has two closets in the master, which is rare in a house this age.  I have three others in the house. 

My favorite painting!!!! Brian brought me this back from an antique store in Paris three years ago.......LOVE IT (you have to see it in person) 

Well there it is.  I'm really regretting taking these pictures at night.......


p.s.  I still don't have a computer.....that's why I haven't been posting.  I had to give my dad the one I was borrowing back, and I made Brian go get his from work so I could post this!!!! ahhhhhhh
