He told me he wanted to be a "hot"dog for halloweeen this year so I just couldn't resist.

I'm still on a loner computer....I'm starting to get annoyed.  I need to just take a few hours and go figure this out!

remember when I talked about how I wanted one HERE.  This is SO PERFECT and now I have somewhere to fold laundry....wrap gifts.....or even move it to another room as a serving cart when we entertain!  Thanks Brian ;)

It came while he was gone one weekend and I was too anxious to wait for him to get home and put it together.....so I tried to do it myself.

I did everything right....but it wasn't fitting together.  I was so frustrated I wanted to cry!!!!  But don't worry....Brian to the rescue!  He figured out that two parts were not cut the right way when they were manufactured so all we had to do was use the bolt cutters and fix it.....DUH! Why didn't I think of that!

Look at Hooch.....he always thinks he can do everything Brian can!  We should of named him Shadow. 

This past weekend I got to celebrate my birthday with some great friends in Highlands, NC.

The Motherboard

CRISIS!!!!!! My computer has died....totally crashed.  I had a minor freak out last week and rushed it on over to best buy!  What's the consensus.........it's THE MOTHERBOARD [insert the Geek Squad voice] . I wasn't really sure what that meant, but I could tell by the geek squad man's face that it wasn't good.  I'm in the process of trying to figure out what to do.....get a new computer which I can't afford..... fix the old one.....keep borrowing my dad's????   AHHHHHHH!!!! Whatever I decide to do, I'm hoping they can get all my stuff off my old computer!!!!!!!  Keep your fingers crossed! Maybe I will be back tomorrow with a solution and I can show you what Brian got me for our anniversary! Be back soon........

A Week Later...

I wanted to post these pictures a week ago....but I got a little busy...and then we lost Brian's sweet grandfather, Tommy, on Thursday.  He lived in Savannah and when he found out we had lung caner we moved him to g-vegas, which I am so thankful for because Brian was able to be with him the last six months of his life.  He also got to see our house before and after!  We are so sad he is gone, we love you papa!

Last weekend (our anniversary) all I could think about was this...

You hear about this tradition your whole life....and I had built up so much excitement over the past year waiting to dig into it!!!!  I was so afraid that it wasn't going to taste good after building up a year's worth of freezerburn because it was sooo good on our wedding day and I didn't want to be disappointed.

I got a little caught up in the moment too and put wedding themed decor all around the house

Brian made me this delicious breakfast, buttermilk waffles, strawberries, and eggs!

and that night I got to eat my cake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and guess what............

IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!  thank goodness because that would of ruined my year ;)

Brian and I decided that the next project on our house is going to be to paint the outside.  We love painted brick houses, which is one of the reasons we bought this house. It's brick on all four sides.  I've been trying to look around and figure out what color combinations I like.  Send me some pictures if you see anything good!!!!!!

One Year

Today is Brian and I's year anniversary! I cannot believe it's been a whole year!!!! It has been a fantastic year and we feel so blessed!  Here we are one year ago today

It's been an eventful year for sure!

We went on a fabulous honeymoon

We had our first Christmas

We won a national championship

Brian turned 25

We got a new house

It's Fall, Ya'll

Fall is my FAVORITE season...and finally it's here!!! I was getting so tired of my summer clothes and thankfully we can now wear jackets and boots! WHOO HOOO!

I was feeling the need to add some "fallish" things around the house.  During the move, I must of misplaced my Halloween decorating box because I cannot find it anywhere!  Brian must of hid it....I knew he hated that Frankenstein pillow!  I'm thinking it might be in my in-law's attic, I need to check on that.

Next, to decorate the table.  I had this great basket...

So I went to the grocery store and picked up some of these fall vegetable things (i'm sure they have a name)

The table needs more....like a table runner.  I'll get to that later.

My parents hosted an engagement party two weeks ago for my FAVORITE COUPLE, Mark and Lindsey who are getting married in January!!

Check out this wreath that my friend Debbie (the lady with the magical van) made.  Isn't it soo cute!

They set up the tables in the backyard behind the pool house and it was such a neat atmosphere (it was dark outside during the party...lots of candles)
